*Description/ Comment: Performs intermediate level application development
work for the Investment Management Division. Work involves planning and
developing automation projects of significant size, complexity, and
importance with responsibility for project completion, implementation, and
maintenance; and providing technical assistance to staff. Works under
general supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative
and independent judgment . Reports to Director of Investment Technology.*
*Essential Duties includes, but are not limited to:*
*Codes, tests and debugs software applications for the Investment
Management Division, aligned with approved architectural direction, and
using a variety of development languages .*
*Follows an established Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for all
projects.*
*Documents all code and user procedures as requested.*
*Develops applications using Microsoft Visual Studio and C#.Net .*
*Develops stored procedures using Microsoft SQL Server and TSQL.*
*Develops reports using SQL Server Reporting Services {SSRS), Excel, and/or
Excel using VBA automation.*
*Works in partnership with application and data architects to ensure proper
integration of new solutions into existing environments.*
*Works closely with Enterprise IT to ensure development aligns with
infrastructure capacity and technology environment requirements. -----,*
*Works with database administrators to design logical and physical data
models and ensure efficient flow and storage of information.*
*Provides task-level estimated effort and development schedules to project
leads.*
