Title: Senior Business Analyst Location: Providence, RI Duration: 6+ months
*JOB SUMMARY* Identify business change needs, assess the impact of those changes; capture, analyze and document requirements and support the communication and delivery of those requirements with all relevant stakeholders. Effectively manage requirements as well as lead organized sessions to elicit or communicate requirements. *ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (nature and scope of position, maximum of 10):* - Develop requirements of business management plans for various projects to include timelines and roadmaps for deliverables, resource need or allocation, scope management, and stakeholder communication strategy. - Lead and facilitate requirements elicitation sessions with individual or group of stakeholders as well as reviews to identify missing, unclear or conflicting requirements. - Manage the creation and refinement of requirements documentation including but not limited to user requirements, functional requirements, conceptual data models, process flows and user interface mock-ups. - Use appropriate elicitation techniques (workshop, interview, survey, prototype / mock-up) for the project. Consult and coordinate with stakeholders to design and map business processes and procedures for current and future states. - Define and document business needs, distinguish between needs and wants (or solutions), identify gaps and document solutions that fill the gaps. - Manage stakeholder communication and expectation for multiple initiatives, including resolution and documentation of scope change or functional issues such as data validation, user interface behavior and exception processing. Take ownership of requirements issues (identifies, tracks, escalates and drives resolution). - Create or assist others in the writing of user documentation, training materials, instructions, operational and customer support policies and procedures, and business processes controls needed to launch and sustain the operations of the solution. - Direct interface with development, quality assurance (QA), and project managers to ensure functionality is understood and documentation is clear. - Assist in the determination of product functionality needed in order to stay in compliance or to effectively address new and changing regulations and/or guidance related to the business. - Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members and other stakeholders, including business partners and all levels of IT leadership. - Perform other duties as assigned. *QUALIFICATIONS:* *Minimum Education and Experience:* - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience - Five to seven years experience effectively applying business analysis techniques and processes to impact continuous improvement and product effective outcomes *Preferred Education, Additional Qualifications and Experience:* - CCBA or CBAP designation *Required Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:* - Advanced to expert skills in process analysis using UML, IDEF and/or other methodology - Ability to document business and user requirements, such as process flows, functional requirements, user interface mockups, user stories and conceptual data diagrams - Experience working with technology stakeholders and liaising to SMEs - Ability to lead and facilitate sessions to deliver requirements to project teams (i.e. development, QA, training, etc.) - Ability to gather, manage, and consolidate requirements from cross-functional groups - Strategic and critical thinking skills - Strong analytical skills - Strong business acumen and political savvy - Strong negotiation skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Strong problem solving skills - Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people in individual and group settings - Strong organizing skills, with the ability to prioritize and respond to shifting deadlines - Strong time management skills - Ability to manage diverse and deadline-oriented workflow -- Thanks, *Srinadh Reddy* *SILTEK CORPORATION* *people. technology. innovation* 300 Brickstone Square Suite 201 Andover, MA 01810 (978) 475-2500 Direct (978) 623-7201 Fax *[email protected] <[email protected]> *www.siltekcorp.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source Erp & Crm" group.
