Hi,

Hope you are doing well.

Please go through the below position and share resumes to [email protected]

*Position: **Sr. DB2 Expert/Consultant*

*Location: Minneapolis, MN*

*Duration: 6+ months*

*Job Description:*

Problems in DB2 connectivity as part of a Windows server upgrade project.

Technical Measures and Attempts to resolve already taken:
- DB2 ODBC driver was installed on the new server
- Initially, we used DB2 Runtime Client version 7.1.0.82
- When launching the DB2 Command Line Processor, and typing the catalog
command, we receive "catalog is not recognized as an internal or external
command, operable program or batch file".
- We worked with an internal DB2 SME to ensure access rights were correct.
After a few revisions, we're relatively confident that access is not an
issue since OBDB access is successful
- ACL Tech Support suggested our DB2 Runtime Client (7.1.0.82) is outdated
and would not work with their new AX5.3
- Upgraded DB2 Runtime Client to 10.5, but Direct Connect continued to fail
- Out of desperation, our next step is to try an even newer version of DB2
Runtime Client

Required:
• DB2 experts who can readily identify the root cause and resolution of
Direct Connect issue, recommend and implement the solution.
