Role : *Sr. Data Engineer. * Location : Palo Alto, CA Duration : 6+ Months a. Experience in delivering scalable big data analytics solutions using technologies such as Vertica, Hadoop, Yarn, Oozie, Hive, Avro, Spark, Scala, Java, Python, Scipy and R. b. 5+ years of experience developing high availability, scalable, medium to large scale system. c. Hands-on experience with distributed processing and storage technologies, such as HBase and other NoSQL technologies. d. Hands-on experience with indexing solution, such as Elastic Search and Apache Solr/ Lucene is a plus. e. Design and implement scalable workflows for local data processing, quality monitoring and reporting. f. - Design and implement scalable workflows for data analytics to gain in-depth insights into points-of-interest and related data and it’s usage.
