*Position: Peoplesoft Administrator * *Location : Pittsburgh, PA * *Duration: 12+ Months ongoing contract (could be several years). * *Interview Mode: Phone / Skype * *Job Description* · This position involves planning, design, implementation and support of solutions to existing and/or proposed PeopleSoft and Oracle based administrative systems. · The candidate will support the underlining components of PeopleSoft applications, apply patches/updates, code migrations and perform upgrades. · The incumbent will interact with other teams that are responsible for designing, developing and supporting applications *Job Requirement* · Bachelor’s Degree in CS, IS or related field and 5 years of experience in PeopleSoft administration and design on a Linux/UNIX platform is required. · Experience with PeopleSoft maintenance and upgrades is a must, including a demonstrated ability in identification and application of service packs, patches/updates, bundles and migrations of required components. · Thorough understanding of the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA). · Skill and working knowledge of Application Designer, Change Assistant, PUM, Integration Broker and PeopleSoft Security. · Experience in support of Crystal Reports, SQR, Application Engine and COBOL processing. · Experience with Oracle database administration including application of CPUs/PSUs, clone/refresh, backup/recovery, capacity planning and management of user accounts desired. · Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and debug complex applications and Oracle database related issues. · This job additionally requires interaction with application users and development teams to resolve application related challenges. · 5-6 years experience · Bachelor in CS, IS or related field (or equivalent in experience). Five years experience with programming languages, database management systems, Oracle, PL/SQL, or Java. · Experience with PeopleSoft is required. In addition, in-depth knowledge of software development life cycle and project management is required.
