Title: QA Testing Analyst Duration: 12+ month Contract Location: Remote Job Responsibilities: A self-directed Senior Testing Analyst is needed to write and execute functional test cases for existing tools and reports. This individual will also be responsible for updating test cases to reflect any changes made to reports or tools as a result of Agile User Stories implemented during their tenure. This position is for a telecommuter accustomed to working in Agile Scrum with a distributed team. Team communication is via teleconference and WebEx. They will work with a business expert and business analysts to arrive at test plans for various tools and reports, the goal being to create a reusable set of test cases for each tool and ensure that alterations to comply with all regulatory changes are incorporated. This work is on a tight deadline and this individual must be willing and able to work overtime as required to meet deadlines. Must be willing to partner with teammates and deliver high quality work within the given guidelines. Responsible for: 1. Test planning (with lead) 2. Test Case development in Rally 3. Manual testing of applications as well as reports and files to ensure they meet the requirements and match the design specifications 4. Familiarity with health insurance terminology is a plus. Background with Medicare Advantage plan design is a HUGE plus 5. Able to collaborate with others on approach and create highly maintainable test cases that can be reused as regression tests in the future. REQUIRED: 3+ years Experience testing software applications, able to setup test data with Transact-SQL (MS SQL Server queries), Access VBA and Forms and Excel VBA. Able to evaluate report content against source data to ensure accuracy.
