*Job Title:* SAP Solution Architect

*Location: *Bellevue, WA, US



*Qualifications:*


Client is looking for an IT Solution Architect to support design and
architecture for Procure-to-Pay solutions. The Solution Architect is the
key contributor in defining solution strategy and design principles, and
ensuring the alignment between the business needs and technical solutions.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Serving as a subject matter expert to guide technology strategy for SAP
Procure-to-Pay solutions
- Developing and executing architectural strategy for design and
implementation
- Creating and documenting High Level Solution Designs (HLSDs), and working
with application owners to identify software options, impacts and
recommendations
- Presenting HLSDs to senior leadership
- Preparing and maintaining architecture diagrams and data models
- Working with business teams and technical analysts to understand business
requirements
- Serving as a technical resource for business teams to help define,
estimate and recommend optimized solutions
- Preparing visual diagrams of system architecture, functionality, and
process flows
- Possessing the knowledge and understanding of many of IT systems,
particularly changes happening within back-end systems
- Defining and advocating software architecture standards and best practices
- Reviewing and signing off on technical designs
- Working with development, infrastructure, test, and production support
teams to ensure proper implementation of solution

*Required Qualifications*
- 5+ years of experience with the SAP portfolio (e.g., SAP-ECC or SAP-ERP
or SAPR/3), Fieldglass, Procure-to-Pay, and Ariba
- Experience integrating business solutions such as Ariba and/or Fieldglass
with SAP
- 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect designing and integrating
systems
- Strong writing experience producing application and system architecture
designs (HLSDs)
- Experience articulating the relationship between the business needs and
recommended system architecture to business leaders and stakeholders
- A solid understanding of SDLC methodology - traditional Waterfall as well
as Agile Scrum
