Strong analytical, conceptual, and root cause analysis skills. Strong verbal, written and (technical) communication skills. 6-8 years experience with SQL (including performance tuning) and thorough understanding of at least two major DBMS (e.g., DB2, SQL Server, Oracle or Teradata). This also requires a thorough, conceptual, understanding of entity relationships (ERD) and data base design. Experience to work with and/or lead other team members to develop required software objects and documentation (following standards and procedures) as deemed necessary by the project at hand.
