The Indiana Division of Forestry is interested in developing a website that will create a clearinghouse for Forestry related commodities and services. The Indiana hardwood market is the largest sector of the Indiana agricultural economy. The goals of the initiative include: facilitating trade and commerce of forest products, equipment, materials and services; improving landowner access to the forest product marketplace; and increasing the successful implementation of forest conservation projects by improving access to available conservation work. This initiative is designed to create a central point or hub that will provide a diverse group of users' access to the forest related resources they need to increase their business and improve the forest conservation practices in Indiana. The successful applicant will work on a team consisting of a DNR project manager, database analyst, and Division of Forestry subject matter expert. The application backend will be using *SQL2005*.
