* *Job Title : Senior SQL Server Developer with .NET Location: San Francisco Duration: 3+ months (definite extension)* ** ** *LOCAL NEEDED!!!!!!!!* *JOB SUMMARY This position will be responsible for assisting technology and analytics group in SQL Server 2005, ASP.NET and Access related programming tasks for an internal Application. Consultant will assist in the effort in creating an Access-based application modeling tool, as well as extensive work on application front-end using ASP.NET and ASP. Business Experience • At least 5-7 years of related professional experience • At least 5-7 years experience working on multiple development projects • At least 5-7 years experience in development and supporting application programming • 5-7 years experience developing and supporting GUI applications • 5-7 years system and client/server design experience • Prior working experience with relational databases, specifically Oracle and SQL Server 2005 • Detailed knowledge of advanced workstation operating systems (XP, NT) and server operating systems (UNIX) • Excellent project planning, organizational, teamwork and interpersonal skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (10/10) TASKS: § Will Create SSIS packages to move data from various data vendors to DISPENSE_MART Data Mart. § Will Re-Design existing legacy Deals Processing to fully normalized database. § Responsible for handling some of the operational work for each closing period which was very critical for business profit analysis. § Tuned the complex stored procedures using SQL TOOLS to improve the system performance § Create various interactive reports for monthly and quarterly Deals using SSRS. Daily Activities: -Run status reports to Sr. Developer -Will have weekly plan that can consist of up to about 6 projects at once. Priorities will be set and it's your job to get them done. -Evaluate existing Applications -As feeds of information come in through the database, they will be changing these feeds through SQL 2005 coding. NEEDS: Windows desktop app development targeting .NET 2.0 using either VB.NET or C# (1+ years of experience) Web app development targeting .NET 2.0 using either VB.NET or C# (1+ years of experience) Web app development using JavaScript, CSS SQL Server 2005 (1+ years of experience) T-SQL and stored procedure programming (2+ years of experience) Good verbal communication skills Ability to work alone with minimal supervision.
