*Job Title : Technical writer/BA Duration : 2 month contract Location : Chicago, IL* *Position Description: Highly experienced Communication Consultant to assist with communication and training campaign for an audience of 17 thousand plus. The campaign is focused on new encryption technology that is going into production. Responsibilities will include: - Developing presentations - Developing training materials - Hosting training sessions - Crafting communication messages for various audiences - Attending team meetings and working with many stakeholders - Developing help desk scripts - Developing survey materials Skills Required: Ability to write and design communications in a variety of formats Experience creating newsletters, magazine articles, fliers, forms, surveys, and presentations Experience writing, designing, and sending email communications Fluency in all Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint) Excellent communications skills and positive attitude Strong knowledge of communications effectiveness practices Excellent/Advanced written and verbal communications skills Strong interpersonal skills Ability to multi task Ability to work in a team environment Understanding of training end-users on technology is required Experience in crafting communications for large, geographically dispersed audiences at different levels of the organizations Additional Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Understanding of technology, particularly around encryption, is desired Knowledge of information security is a plus.
