Location : San Francisco, CA Duration : 6 Months* ** *LOCAL NEEDED!!!!!!* *Skills: SQL Scipting; Financial Experience; Data Mapping; Market/Index Data;* *Description: DUTIES * Act as primary interface between technology development groups * Main point of contact for questions and issue resolutions for development team * Administer and co-ordinate user testing with business groups and other technology groups, documenting results of test cases for sign-off by team leads and business heads * Involvement with all phases of development (analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment) * Document/enhance/maintain index set up procedures and process flows* *SKILLS * Prior BA experience with a complex technical product/service * 3-5 years of related Business Analyst, experience w/in the financial sector, prior experience working as a business data analysis a plus * Prior experience with data mapping, process modeling and evaluating for best practices including, implementation of robust and scalable processes * Familiarity of market or index data a plus * Excellent business analysis, communication and documentation skills * Previous experience in all phases of the SDLC * Prior experience working on a global team a plus * Proficient SQL scripting skills a plus Key Attributes * Excellent communication and documentations skills. * Maintain flexibility in approach and solutions to meet the changing needs of a fast-growing business. * Well organized, disciplined approach to work * Ability to work within complex project, deadline-drive culture and work well under pressure * Ability to apply knowledge in a practical framework * High level of self-motivation, with a strong work ethic * Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities.
