*Job Description: Position Description: Experience Level: 4 year degree plus 7-10 years experience. Description: Leads the design, testing, implementation, maintenance, and control of the organization's physical, relational, and object-oriented databases across multiple platforms and computing environments. Develops data architectures and database management policies and standards. Provides senior-level consulting services in the identification and resolution of database issues. Serve as a high-level resource on database management issues, and participate in the planning, design, and usage of data resources. DBA to be primarily a SQL DBA but also have Oracle DBA experience to assist with on-call. MS SQL Server 2005 knowledge and MS SQL Server 2008 a plus. Knowledge of MS SQL Server clusters. Power Designer or similar modeling tool knowledge. Experience with Analysis Services and Reporting Services, Cubes is a plus as well as knowledge of MS SQL Server 2005 64-bit. Strong with NT as well as familiar with AIX. Perl scripting knowledge is a must due to our infrastructure.
