* * *Job Title :Database Administrator Location : – Reston, VA** Duration: until September 2009* Possibility for renewal * * * *Notes: Citizen, Green Card (no EADs) ONLY****Must be available to work shifts!* *Database Administrator I administers and supports databases and systems by performing table maintenance, backups, data cleaning/audits and providing training and troubleshooting support for users. May perform some basic shell scripting also. Must know Oracle and having a familiarity with Sybase a plus. Candidate must be willing to work onsite, weekend night shift. The schedule will be Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 7pm - 7:30 am. There will be no on-call support required outside of the nightshift schedule. The candidate will be the first line of support for escalated database(Oracle and Sybase) issues and will have to work customers and other support teams. Some experience with performance and tuning skills for Oracle a plus.
