* * *Job Title : UNIX/AIX With IBM Mainframe Exp Location : NYC, NY Duration : Long Term. DESCRIPTION The Primary Role of the Job Admin Analyst is to serve as a technical resource and to perform highly difficult and complex data telecommunications operations. The candidate must possess in-depth knowledge of the IBM Mainframe, z/OS processes, such as JCL; PROCS; working knowledge of ISPF; Responsibilities will include: Processing Source codes Compile and Links; DB2 Binds; Creating Job Schedules based on predecessor/successor relationship; Build GDG Indexes and be able to process Job Streams in environments. The candidate must be able to differentiate between processing environments and support Development Teams in the testing of various integrated batch Job Streams; support/move scripts and programs into the production servers and assist with troubleshooting. Essential Skills In depth knowledge of the CA-Scheduler Products, including CA-Scheduler; CA-Agent and CA-Adapter, and IBM Mainframe z/OS. Knowledgeable of the AIX Operating systems like Oracle, Peoplesoft and Solaris environments preferred. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Be able to process Application Job flows and monitor its batch job condition codes. Be able to schedule and process refreshes of AIX environments as requested. Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills Ability to plan, manage and work independently with minimal direction.
