*Job Description: In terms of toolsets the following have been mentioned: - Experience with Java Server Faces, specifically with Apache Tomahawk - Composite Server is a big plus - JReport experience is a big plus - PL/SQL & Solid database knowledge are a must looking for a Senior Java/J2EE developer, well-versed in Oracle, to serve as the lead developer on a team of up to 3 developers working on a new equity research platform for a large investment firm. This application will require capturing information from many access points (the main application and other applications). Consultant must have prior investment industry experience. Any experience specifically with equity research systems would be highly desirable. Overall, work will be a mix of both front and backend development. Person will serve as the lead/go-to person on the team and will help out with code reviews of the others. Person will also be asked to pinch hit on other related applications. Java 5 and SQL are a must have. Hibernate is a plus. In terms of front end development; Swing and Ajax are good skills to have. Again, previous Financial Experience is a must have.
