Duration : 6 Months+* ** ** *LOCAL NEEDED!!!!* * The requirements are: To qualify, candidates must have: A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, accounting, finance or a related field (MBA or MS degree preferred) A minimum of three (3) years of experience working at a financial services company or comparable experience working as an advisor to a financial services company. We will consider candidates with two (2) years of work experience if they possess an advanced degree. 2 years of experience with a focus on data analytics and software testing Experience in one or more of the following Financial areas: Retail Banking, Mortgages, Credit Cards or Capital Markets Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and executing software test cases and test scripts Significant experience working with MS Office Suite A demonstrated ability to partner with a team of technology advisors through all phases of the technology life cycle, including requirements definition, architecture, design, development, implementation, conversion and testing Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating operations with technology skills An ability and comfort level researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies A willingness and ability to travel approximately 50%-70% Previous experience in any of the following: Proficiency writing SQL statements, SQL scripts, and relational database concepts. Proficiency using Test Planning Tools (e.g. Mercury Quality Center or similar). Proficiency using Automated Testing Tools (e.g. Mercury Quick Test Pro or similar). Demonstrated experience performing software testing at a financial services company Demonstrated experience performing software testing on core ERP and Financial Reporting applications The successful candidate should possess strong knowledge of and experience in supervising and executing all phases of the technology life cycle, based on proven project management and testing methodologies. It is essential that the successful candidate possess a deep knowledge of technical architecture design and have a good understanding of technology tools and components to reasonably argue for and against all components (middleware, database, reporting tools, etc.) in financial systems architecture.
