C# or Java background required. Summary Client is seeking candidates to convert a Flash AS2 project to AS3/Flex and also do some C# work until the end of the year. Candidates must have with good understanding on OO programming. Client is not seeking designer type coders but rather coder types. Preferably with CS degree and/or work in C# or Java besides the Flex/Flash. Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or as part of a team. Responsibilities Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. Analyze user needs and software requirements. Develop requirements, design and test plan documentation. Flash/Flex experience required. Qualifications BA/BS degree with an analytical discipline or 5+ years of experience directly related to professional software development. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong analytical ability to perform full range of system design and programming responsibilities utilizing state of the art concepts, techniques and languages. Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions and effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology. Strong knowledge of systems analysis/design, and computer programming languages. Strong technical skills particularly in Flash 7 & 8, Actionscript 2 & 3, Flex builder, Java and User Interface Design/Information Architecture. Must be able to work independently as well as a member of a team.
