*Duration: 6 months*

* CCIE certification Required (Written test only will suffice)*

* Advanced infrastructure design and support skills. This may include, but
not limited to:*

* Routing and Switching, VPN, Security, VOIP, WiFi, UC (Unified
Communications), Data Center (Application Optimization, Load-balancing, and
Security)*

* A minimum of 8-10 years related experience in a 24X7 enterprise
environment*

* Science, a closely related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience*

* Expert knowledge of network security and firewalls, including Cisco PIX,
and ASA*

* Expert knowledge of network protocols – mainly BGP, OSPF, RIP, SIP, LDAP,
UDP, GRE, GDP, MPLS, WAP*

* Expert knowledge in Cisco hardware and IOS software and configuration
including VPN and VLAN*

* Experience in VoIP, private Microwave technology, Network monitoring
tools, Network Access Control (NAC), Fibre Channel switch*

* Ability to work well with IT operations and application system development
peers to document and meet company requirements  *

* Seeking a professional, skilled individual as a Lead Network Engineer.
Responsibilities will include providing a reliable and secure, data and
voice telecommunications infrastructure. The job requires devising solutions
to new requirements, analyzing current situations to improve reliability,
security, cost effectiveness, and implementing policies, procedures, and
tools to support appropriate monitoring and problem diagnosis data and voice
network.*

* Troubleshoot any network issues as those arise*

* Insure that all the network elements – Switches, routers, firewalls -- are
properly maintained, configured, and adhere to security policies*

* Lead planning, designing, and implementation of Local and Wide Area
Networks (LANs and WANs)*

* Evaluate and recommend specific network technology solutions, products,
and platforms to provide cost-effective solutions that meet business and
technology requirements*

* Provide expert technical direction and mentoring to Sr. Network, and
Network Engineers*

* Perform root cause analysis for service interruption, creating
preventative measures to deploy in the enterprise*

* Generate/provide metrics, network anomaly analysis, and security
vulnerabilities*

* Maintain and update Network engineering records including network maps, IP
allocation records, work instructions, training documents, and network
standard documentations*

* Monitor utilization trends and perform capacity planning for all network
infrastructures*

* Work with vendors and suppliers by giving requirements, understanding
capabilities and arranging for training and assistance*

* Lead development of strategic plan for the telecom area*
