Master Data Consultant Location: Burbank, CA Length: 4 months *Rate: $55/hr all inc.* Interview: Phone The primary role of the candidate will be: Data Conversions, Dictionaries, Source System Analysis, Target System Analysis and Mapping Responsibilities: 1. Update existing (as required) or create new Master Data Profiles categorizing master data objects according to departmental policy. 2. Update existing (as required) or document new Master Data Lineages. 3. Identify new or changing Master Data Governance, stewardship, and custodianship models, as well as the required master data changes to support enterprise projects (from planning to delivery). 4. Document, track, and resolve master data quality issues and identify and perform proactive measures to ensure continuous monitoring and improvement. 5. Document master data conversions and interfaces (including translation tables) as required. 6. Create and maintain the department’s online forms for master data and translation data requests. 7. Provide data analysis of by-title master data and translations to identify data corrections/improvements required during conversion. 8. Coordinate selection of MPMs as test data for unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing. 9. Provide test data for conversion and integration testing, as requested by project teams. Specific Deliverables: 1. Develop enterprise data model for by-title. 2. Document key design decisions for master data. 3. Develops data cleansing plans and monitors execution of data cleansing plans. 4. Maintains Issue List of data-related issues and questions and coordinates resolution of data conversion and data cleansing activities. 5. Provides weekly status of data activities to management. 6. Provides data extracts to functional teams, as requested. 7.
