Visa: Only US Citizens with Federal Govt projects experience.
Required skills:
Provide system administration including configuration,
management, and maintenance of all network hardware, UNIX/Linux servers,
Windows servers, Windows desktops, Windows laptops, and a single Apple
Macintosh Desktop used for testing. Windows desktops are configured as
either Staff or Development workstations. Operating systems to be
administered within the System include RedHat 4.0, RedHat 5.0, Windows
Server 2008, Windows XP Professional, Windows 7, and MacOS 10.5.
Installation of follow-on versions, upgrades, as well as patches to these
systems is required.
Provide technical support to develop, implement, maintain and
monitor security practices that comply with Federal information security
laws, regulations and guidelines cited in this work statement.
Provide technical support in security, operations and
maintenance of NCDDC web site, online data services, web-based data
catalogs, geospatial mapping, and tools (development support not included in
this requirement). The current operations use following software,
databases, and web servers: Zope 2, Zope 3, Plone 2.X, Plone 3.X, Python
and Python library support, Java, Java Development Kit, Oracle 10.X,
postgreSQL, ArcGIS 9.3, ArcIMS 9.3, ArcServer, XForms, XForms, XSLT,
XQuery, XPointer, XPath, XProc, XLink, XML Schema, Schematron, eXist, Native
XML, Analog, awstats, Django, Lighttpd, Apache, TomCat, and PoundProxy.
Provide required and requested System documentation including
inventories, configuration management reports, security control
implementation, operating procedures, log summaries, access, helpdesk
reports, and other documentation as needed.
Provide support for a full range of hardware and software
operations and maintenance support for all System components under this SOW,
including, but not limited to, testing, training, installation, monthly
inventory, configuration, and troubleshooting, as well as specifying all
necessary hardware and software to be acquired, as requested, for the
accomplishment of creating, modifying, and maintaining the NCDDC System.
