Please provide the following Details along with your .doc RESUME. ** * * *Job Title : Sr BI/Data Warehouse Analyst / Developer* *Location : Princeton, NJ* *Duration :** 6 Months +* *Rate : DOE* *Job Description:* Candidates must possess a full functional knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts, development, and design. Additional skills include: 1. Provides technical expertise to the development and implementation of solutions using basic dimensional modeling techniques. Make recommendations for improvements in these areas, if necessary. 2. Ability to develop and support data extracts, data transfers, and load jobs 3. Development of ETL solutions for legacy and new development 4. PL/SQL, Transact SQL a plus 5. Provide business expertise for the development of Business Intelligence solutions. 6. Provides technical support for existing Data Warehouse ETL processes. 7. Big plus if they know IBM DataStage ETL tool – not yet in use but emerging as the new tool 8. Assures quality of design and implementation of projects. 9. Trouble-shoots application software/hardware problems as they apply to design, implementation, or installation activities. 10. Schedules and coordinates application maintenance activities. 11. Participates in on-call, overnight off-hour production problem resolution activities when required. 12. Follows DMS related standards and procedures, knows where they are located, and incorporates them. Follows ETS software development processes. 13. Researches, evaluates, and tests new software and DW related tools and facilities as they pertain to the existing DW environment and applications. 14. Monitors current DW applications and develops procedures, where necessary, to improve the DW environment as required. 15. Identifies and supports quality improvement initiatives. 16. Performs other assignments to comply with the IS&T corporate purpose and mission to add business value, increase revenue, decrease costs, improve productivity, and support the strategic initiative/directive. 17. Complies with all ETS security and audit standards. 18. Manages the work of ETS vendors to achieve quality results at a market based price using ETS SR&T policies and procedures. Candidates must have extensive knowledge in Oracle database programming skills with Oracle and PL/SQL. Candidates also must have extensive technical skills in Sun/Unix environment. A strong knowledge of UNIX shell scripting is required. ETS strongly prefers IBM Data Stage ETL experience and IBM Data Quality experience. Experience with Data Warehouse implementations and ETL skills is preferred. Skills using Autosys Job Scheduler, Unix Sync sort, LINUX, MicroFocus Cobol,and IBM Mainframe JCL/COBOL is a big bonus. Candidates should have a Bachelor degree or Masters in Computer Science or 8 to 10 years of related experience in IT or a related field.
