CNA is undergoing a large IT transformation program that includes
organization design, the increased utilization of vendors in a managed
services arrangement and the implementation of improved processes to promote
efficiency and to support the transition to managed services.  CNA is
seeking a Process Improvement lead that will provide leadership and assist
in the deployment of the processes to the organization.



Roles and responsibilities:



Apply a structured change management approach and methodology for the change
driven by process improvements in preparation for a transition to managed
services.

Work with communication, training, HR and Organizational Development
specialists in the formulation and implementation of particular plans.

Conduct stakeholder and impact analysis

Support defining the Learning Strategy and Training.  Support stakeholder
engagement and leadership alignment

Develop a change management strategy based on a of the change needs for the
IT Organization and the business through the transition to managed services.


Identify potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance,
and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns.

Conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results and present findings in a
logical and easy-to-understand manner.

Develop a set of actionable and targeted process change plans – including
communication plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan and
resistance management plan.

Create and manage measurement systems to track adoption, utilization and
proficiency of individual changes.

Identify resistance and performance gaps, and work to develop and implement
corrective actions

Suggest reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of success.

Work with project teams to integrate process change management activities
into the overall project plan.

Perform reviews of process and policy documentation to ensure that it is
efficient and can be effectively deployed.

Plan; create or deliver training and user documentation

Skills and qualifications:



Experience deploying process with the transition to outsourcing,
multi-vendor managed services.

Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal.

Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization.

Must be a team player and able to work with and through others.

Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.

Lean or Six Sigma experience is highly desirable
