Title: .Net Support Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: 6 months, with possible extensions and possible right-to-hire.
Rate: $40 - 45/hr
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
Technical support specialist to Interface with clients, understand issues
and provide resolutions in a timely manner.
Analyze and coordinate resolution of production issues.
Manage deployment of releases.
Maintain adequate communication with clients and IT management; act as
liaison between business, vendors and other support teams.
Escalate issues when required to ensure timely resolution.
Become primary point of contact for all issues and requests.
Develop relationships with other IT groups to ensure all issues are
addressed in an expatiated and effective manner and that users are kept
updated at all times.
Documentation of production applications and infrastructure.
Maintain required level of infrastructure support; liaison with internal
teams where necessary.
Maintain production and Disaster Recovery environment infrastructure.
Qualifications
Education and Professional Qualifications

Bachelors / Graduate Degree
IT / Science / Maths/ Engineering based
Microsoft / Sun Certification
Minimum 6 years IT experience in development or support related activities
3+ years of application development experience in the financial/banking
domain [preferably in the trading
area], on the Microsoft .Net platform, including
data modelling.
Work Experience
Essential Desirable
5+ years as Application/Database Developer in the brokerage/financial
services sector with hands on experience on Java, EJB, Struts, JSP
Programming with Weblogic, JDBC, OOA/OOD/OOP XML/XSLT/HTTP.
Enterprise-wide Presentation Layer Design and Development
Experience support and tuning database objects / stored procedures and
PL/SQL.
2+ years of production application release and support to end users.
Familiar with Incident and problem mgmt processes.
3+ years of application development experience in the financial/banking
domain, on the Java, JSP, including data modeling.
Essential Desirable
Knowledge of trading concepts and process flows.
Strong Oracle, SQL Server database development skills - data modelling,
stored procedures, triggers, etc.
Superior skills in technical analysis, Microsoft .Net technologies, like C#,
ASP.Net, SQL Server.
Strong knowledge of Web Services, .NET Remoting, RMI
Proficient in XML, XSLT.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, business writing skills
J2EE, JSP, EJB.

for QA, production releases and deployments.

Become key point of contact for all issues and requests related to Java
application support.
Develop relationships with other IT groups to ensure all issues are
addressed in an expedient and effective manner and that users are kept
updated at all times.
Documentation of production applications and infrastructure.
