Position Description: Experience Level: 4 year degree and 5+
As a member of the Quick Strike team your primary responsibility will be C#
.Net application development for business applications within Home Equity.
Project work requires the ability to execute well across the entire software
development lifecycle and within each of the application layers including
business logic, data and a focus on presentation. You must be able to
participate as an individual contributor or as a member of a highly focused
team.
Analyzes business requirements, constructs technical specifications and
designs. Develops original and/or complex code or provides coding guidance
to less experienced staff. Leads and/or performs modeling, simulations and
analysis efforts. Verifies program logic, prepares and oversees preparation
of test data, performs testing and debugging of programs.
Participates in overall systems testing, performs and leads the migration of
applications to production. Develops new application documentation,
participates in the development of department technical procedures and
designs user guides. Acts as an escalation point for application support and
troubleshooting. Provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff
in resolution of escalated issues and/or in the troubleshooting of complex
production problems. Participates is root cause analysis of production
issues.
Assures quality, security, and compliance requirements are met for supported
areas and participates in testing of the business continuation plan.
Minimum Qualifications
4 year technical degree or equivalent work experience in a technical
role involving complex problem solving
5 years experience with C# .Net, ASP.NET, ASP, and SQL Server 2005
Full lifecycle development experience along with a solid understanding
of development and tools within a MS Windows and MS SQL environment
Both web client and client/service business logic expertise with
strong MS SQL Server skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies, methodologies, and
systems
Detailed-oriented with the ability to drive complicated tasks through
to completion with a quality focus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to translate technical concepts into language which business
personnel can understand
Preferred Skills
Experience with CSS, Ajax, Web Services, WCF and Team Foundation
Server highly desired
Experience using presentation frameworks and patterns such as Windows
Presentation Foundations and MVC
Experience with Windows Workflow Foundation
Strong User Interface/Presentation Layer Skills
Experience with SSIS in SQL Server 2005
Strong understanding of and practical experience with the
implementation of enterprise software patterns
Desired Qualifications
MCSD Certification
Knowledge of Collections and Loss Mitigation Business functions.
