GIS Infrastructure Implementation Services currently has an open position
for a system admin with a *minimum of 3-5 years of Sharepoint Administration
experience.*



Additionally *7-10 years system software implementation and support
experience*.



The primary responsibilities of this position include the installation and
configuration of the complex Sharepoint infrastructure software. An
attention to detail and overall knowledge of the environment is required in
order to accurately perform all job functions. Responsibilities also include
high-level systems administration and problem solving in order to provide
solutions that are highly innovative and solve complex technical problems.
Interaction with global divisional customers requires excellent
communication and customer service skills.

Additional Requirements:
·        Plans and implements innovative enterprise-wide Sharepoint
infrastructure software solutions in order to meet the business requirements
of a global customer base.
·        Serves as the cross-platform technical subject matter expert and
provides consulting support to Division IT, solutions development teams and
end-user organizations.
·        Produces and maintains timely, accurate documentation to support
implementation, operations support and quality/compliance requirements.
Develops Standard Operating Procedures and completes all Change Control
documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Presents proposed changes
to the Infrastructure Validation Review Board and Infrastructure Review
Board as appropriate.
·        Leads technical projects that are focused on the implementation of
new infrastructure software solutions.  Develops implementation plans that
include detailed steps, timelines, check lists, test scripts and coordinates
testing with other teams. Communicates plans to all technologists involved
with solution implementation and obtains agreement of plan.
·        Job includes working on off-hour infrastructure software
implementations and 24x7 on call rotations for global infrastructure
support.
·        Acts independently to achieve organizations objectives, uncover and
resolve issues. Works under consultative direction towards developing and
completing departments goals.
·        Interacts with suppliers to influence their products and services
in directions favorable to the Client.
·        Applies experience to improve functional area business processes or
compliance. Leverages and/or develops tools to enhance functional areas
productivity.
·        Provides technical direction and mentors staff in area of
expertise.  Provides Level 3 support when escalated.
·        Responsible for straddling the gap between business and IT.
Integrates knowledge of technical standards with communication, leadership
and business skills.
·        Provides technical leadership in both business-as-usual and crisis
conditions.

This position requires an individual that is highly motivated, analytical,
and technically competent. The candidate must be able to demonstrate mastery
of the concepts and theory of the specific technology in their field. They
must also have cross infrastructure disciplines and technology knowledge
consisting of a broad understanding of IT standards and methodologies. It is
imperative that this individual be a team player willing to backup
co-workers when problems arise and to take on new challenges without
hesitation. They must have the ability to work effectively with clients,
team members, and management in a global cross-divisional environment.
