 Description:

BA in Information Technology, Project Management or equivalent work
experience in project management.
5+ Years project management experience
5+ Years Information Technology experience
2+ Years experience in Property and Casualty Insurance

Demonstrated ability to initiate, develop, and foster relationships with the
project team, project sponsor, and project stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage conflict effectively.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate agreements between internal and external
parties which meet project needs and are consistent with the organization’s
philosophy and ethics.
Theoretical/conceptual knowledge and understanding of quality management
practices and business analysis.
Demonstrated ability to deliver expected results consistently in terms of
cost, quality, and overall customer satisfaction.
Strong planning and facilitation skills to ensure efficient and productive
meetings.

The role of the PM is to provide day-to-day direction and management for EMB
and Portfolio Board level projects. The PM manages projects from original
concept through entire project lifecycle, while adhering to the corporate
project management framework and satisfying agreed upon project
deliverables.

This PM will be initially responsible for managing eQBE, a web-based Workers
Compensation project for the small-medium employer. This is a six month
contract; it is anticipated that the eQBE project will initially require
100% of the PM's time, but will reduce to 50% after approximately 1 month.
The PM will then be expected to take on additional projects for the duration
of the contract.

The role of the PM is to provide day-to-day direction and management for
company sponsored technology projects. Manage the entire project lifecycle,
adhering to the corporate project management framework and satisfying agreed
upon project deliverables while achieving a high degree of client
satisfaction.
