* *Oracle DBA* *Plano, TX* *9 Month* * * *LOCAL PREFERRED !!!* * * * * *Qualifying Question:* * * *Technical Skills* *• Oracle DBA skills - Oracle 9 and 10g required* *• Oracle RAC and GRID Computing* *• Support for Oracle on UNIX, Linux, and Windows* *• UNIX korn shell scripting for monitoring oracle* *• Oracle backup and recovery using RMAN* *• Oracle performance and tuning* *• Oracle installs and upgrades, patching* *• Oracle proactive monitoring* *• Oracle database design* *• Oracle utilities like export / import for complicated database refreshes* *• Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant IT experience * * * *The following MUST be clearly stated on the resume or the submittal will be automatically declined.* * * *• Resume must clearly articulate substantial Oracle work. Stating Oracle as a 'skill' is NOT sufficent.* *• Resume must clearly articulate the size of the environments- both # of databases supported as well as size, and how many Oracle instances.* *If they have not been responsible for 50 or more databases at one time, do not submit them.
