*Skills Requirements:*
*General Requirements & Responsibilities**:*
*Demonstrated experience with large corporate IT operations, major IT
programs, systems integration and technical architecture, analysis, design,
development, and testing at Enterprise and inter-enterprise levels.*
*Must possess the knowledge and experience required to rapidly
understand general business needs and be capable of translating them into
well-engineered and integrated technical solutions that, when feasible,
leverage and extend existing systems infrastructure components. *
*Responsible for developing positive working relationships and
nurturing consensus with individuals and technical teams to ensure
coordination and integration across all departments, stakeholders and
projects.*
*Demonstrated ability to exercise business case development and
project justification techniques to support varying strategic and tactical
information technology related initiatives. *
*Must be mission-focused and respond rapidly to evolving business
needs; managing expectations, project schedule, and effectively
collaborating with clients, peers, and management to develop solutions and
ensure stakeholder buy-in. *
*Display expert knowledge of technical design alternatives and their
implications by guiding the development team in overall application
technical design activities, following Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
principles and reusable components whenever possible.*
*Ability to discover and define technical requirements and their
relationship to functional requirements and to determine the adequacy of
documented requirements for architecture definition.*
*Must possess a strong knowledge and utilize best practices across the
full software development life cycle (SDLC) and adhere to QA/process
methodologies such as CMM/CMMI, etc.*
*Must be capable and willing to take a leadership role when required
in order to facilitate work sessions and interface with developers,
analysts, and end-users to help identify user requirements, develop
proof-of-concepts, and assess technical infrastructure and support
requirements in support of technical solutions research and development.*
*Ability to lead a group through an architectural development process
and collaborate with application development teams, architects and other
members of the software development team. *
*The qualified candidate must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and
written communication skills, sound problem resolution and decision making
capabilities, be highly motivated, and be prepared to rapidly adapt to
changes in client requirements and priorities.** *
*Demonstrated ability to work independently or within a team, and a
history of taking the initiative and being held accountable for achieving
results. *

*Required Experience and Skills**:*
*BS/BA in computer science, software engineering, or other information
technology field; Microsoft certifications not required, but highly desired.
*
*Five (5) or more years of professional experience in Information
Technology with extensive experience in software integration, data modeling,
database administration, and database-driven web-based solutions support. *
*Five (5) or more years experience with MS SQL Server 2000/2005/2008
with a focus on data architecture and administration. Required
skills/experience to include: migration/upgrade planning and execution,
database design and development, data warehouse, stored procedures,
functions, triggers, and T-SQL*
*Three (3) or more years experience developing business operations and
performance management solutions, to include dashboards, mashups, and other
approaches/techniques to reporting, data integration and presentation
methods.*
*Five (5) or more years experience with enterprise systems,
infrastructure, systems architecture, and application development
technologies/methodologies to include:*
*C#/.NET Framework, ASP.NET 3.5/3.0/2.0/1.x, VB/VBA/VB.NET, MS Office
Access/Excel Macros, ADO.NET, Crystal Reports, MS Visio, SQL, SQL Server
2000/2005/2008 *
*Windows Server 2003/2008, IIS 6/7, DNS/WINS, Active Directory, TCP/IP
& other network considerations*
*Visual Studio 2005/2008; VSS, experience with Visual Studio Team
Foundation Server a plus.*

*Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS) – architecture and
solutions development, database administration and developer support*
*Pervasive Data Modeler and Integration Server*
