We have an urgent requirement for the below position from our Direct client, please go through the job description and send me some matching resumes along with contact details ASAP. *Role: Sr. Business Objects Developer* Location: Summit, NJ Duration: Long Term (direct F2F Interview must, locals highly preferred) Required: 10 years IT experience 1.Minimum of B.A./B.S., international equivalent, in relevant scientific discipline. 2.Business Objects Developer experience. 5+ years of Business Objects Universe Designer experience. Knowledge of Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, ETL, and OLAP. 3.Three (2) years min of drug safety systems experience RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Gather and Analyze from the user. Translate requirements into database & universe design. 2.Create Business Objects Universes, Reports & Dashboards. 3.Document business and system requirements, design, develop, and maintain Business Objects report-related metadata-layer Universes, and building custom reports. 4.Creates detailed design specification for application components based on the requirements. Ensures that software requirements are accurately reflected in detailed designs and coded modules. 5.Maintain documentation on universe & related environments. 6.Support, coordinate, administer and manage the BOXI-R2 reporting environment. Work closely with the infrastructure groups to identify and resolve BOXI-R2 system problems. 7.Provide flawless execution of new development and implementation of the Business Objects Universes, Reports and SQL queries. 8.Analyze detailed problems and implement creative solutions. Be self-motivated and able to assist in identifying system requirement, both technically and with a business view point. 9.Collaborate with other departments including Corporate IT as appropriate. 10.Participation in the implementation of data warehouse technology. SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: *Proficiency of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). *Pharma experience must *Proficiency of Oracle database, Oracle Developer, standard programming languages (SQL & PL/SQL) *Strong experience on SQL *Proficiency of Business Objects *Safety reporting applications: Detailed knowledge of at least one data management system such as ARISg and modules. *Understanding of software development lifecycle development standards. *Understanding of data warehouse concepts. *Familiarity with SAS data sets and conversion procedures a plus. *Knowledge of FDA/ICH and global regulatory requirements for worldwide Pharmacovigilance and industry standard practices regarding data management. *Strong analytical & problem solving ability *Strong verbal & written communication skills.
