They should be comfortable participating at all levels of testing – from planning all the way through execution, including test automation. We aren’t yet clear on much of the design, but it is a pretty safe bet that there will be web services implemented in C#, possible SharePoint integration, Silver light components and SQL – your basic multi-tiered web application. We are hoping to use VS2010 test tools, so familiarity with those would be a plus, but familiarity with VS2008 is probably enough. Expertise in performance testing would also be useful. Specific responsibilities for the vendor test resources include: · Testers will actively participate in functional and technical meetings. · Testers will ramp up on LMI tools (e.g. Visual Studio Team Foundation - VSTF) and methodologies.
