Job title: Web Applications Tester Duration: 12 months Location: Madison, WI (Need Only locals) Responsibilities will include some or all of the following: . Develop technical procedures, methodologies, metrics, checklists, and standards. . Identify, document, and apply best practices for software quality assurance. . Evaluate software development procedures used to verify that programs function according to user requirements and conform to establishment guidelines. . Work with Network Services Section to evaluate and test application performance and security. . Review new or modified programs, including documentation and specifications, to determine if program will perform according to user request and conform to guidelines. . Identify differences between established standards and user applications and suggest modifications to conform to standards. . Develop and maintain test plans, manual and automated test scripts for user interface, functionality, system and 'ad-hoc testing'. . Execute regression tests, functional tests and data tests. . Report, track, and help determine priority of reported bugs. Experience requirements: 4-7 years of quality assurance or tester experience in the web development field or in a related area. Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures used in web based application development.
