Duration: 1 Year Location: Warren NJ *Responsibilities:* · Major New York Bank seeks hands-on Senior Java/Unix/Sybase developer. · Recent experience in the financial industry a must. · The candidate should be a self-motivated individual with good communication skills that works effectively as an individual contributor as well as a solid team-player. · Responsibilities will include enhancing and maintaining existing Java/Sybase code, designing and developing new financial applications, and interacting with business users, technology people, and senior management. *Requirements:* Solid Computer Science fundamentals Good understanding of software engineering principles behind distributed High-performance software architectures are required. Strong hands-on coding skills are a must. *JAVA:* Solid Experience in Java J2EE (JSP, Servlets, JDBC, JMS) Experience with Java Server side programming, development of Java Web based applications and back-end batch applications.
