* * *Job Title : Data Architect/ Modeler* *Location : DC Need Locals* *Duration :** 6 Months+* *Rate : DOE* * * *Job Description:* Data Architect, / Modeler – Level III (10+Years) The Enterprise Data Architect / Data Modeler has senior-level responsibility for the design, development, implementation of the Data Domains Models he/she will be assigned. The assigned project will determine which Data Domain and Deliverables will be pertinent to achieve during the duration of the mandate, in agreement with the Data Architect. Main Generic Deliverables 1. Entity Relationship (E/R) Data Model a. Conceptual b. Logical c. Its relevant associated Data Dictionary & Business rules (Entities / Attributes / Relationship / Domains Definition, any use case that will facilitate the understanding of that Data Model) d. Pass over the Logical Data Model to the Physical Data Architect 2. Functional Specification (FS) a. Including the Field Mapping Sources / Target and all its associated Business Rules 3. Canonical Data Model Data Domains Assignment That Data Domains Model will be assigned depending on the current project priority. For each of the assigned Data Domain, the main generic deliverables should be completed. 1. MDM Project a. WBG Organization b. WBG Product & Services 2. Access to Information / OKSP / External WEB Projects a. Information Resource b. Metadata c. Multi-part document, Content, Document, Multi lingual 3. Finance Project (Trust-Fund, Treasury, Loan, GL...) 4. ODS Project Expertise / skills required 1. Data Architecture & Data Model Design, able to work at any level of Data Modeling: a. Corporate Data Modeling b. understanding of the Contextual Level, c. enriching the Conceptual Level d. designing each Logical Level for the Data Domains involved in the project the Data Architect will be assigned to e. applying the E/R Codd Normal form rules f. respecting the Data/Information principles g. able to understand the Physical Data Model Level & its specific requirements (database, schema, index, recommendation on performance issues, recommendation on sql construct) h. respecting the existing Enterprise data standards and enhance them when pertinent i. able to reverse-engineering & understand existing Data Models (MDM tool, World-Bank) j. E/R Data Modeling with Erwin 2. Facilitation & Leadership to gather Business requirements in order to define the sub-sequent Logical Data Model & capture all the business rules pertinent to that Logical Data Model 3. Strong communication skills (peers and executives, IT & Business, know how working with Enterprise Architect & Solution Architect) 4. Business acumen 5. knowledge of and exposure to Master data management (MDM), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Data Services, Data management, Extraction Transformation Load Tool (ETL Informatica), Enterprise Information Integration Tool (EII), ODS, Data Quality / Data Profiling Tool (Informatica IDQ) 6. Understanding of iterative and agile development principles, processes, and project management techniques, and their application to enterprise data architecture / Data Modeling 7.
