*Required skills*:



·         6+ years designing and implementing solutions in the IBM Tivoli
Service Desk product, 3+ years at Version 6 or higher; (Preference for work
with 7.x)
3+ years experience as a technical lead in the support of the IBM Tivoli
Service Desk product;

·         Expert knowledge of Tivoli Service Desk, including the Tivoli
Service Desk Application Designer, Tivoli Service Desk
schemas/tables/relationships and the Tivoli Service Desk Workflow Designer;

·          Expert skill with JAVA development in Tivoli Service Desk with a
strong knowledge of Tivoli Service Desk JAVA class file structure;

·         Ability to produce technical designs and/or code for JAVA
extensions;

·         Ability to write Tivoli Service Desk custom classes (not just Java
classes);

·         Significant Service Management Experience; (Preference for ITIL)

·         Significant experience developing and supporting software
solutions in Oracle or a comparable relational database platform;

·         Significant configuration and support experience using WebSphere
or WebLogic.Java





*Responsibilities:*



·         The responsibilities include the hands-on support and enhancement
of the Tivoli Service Desk (Maximo) System. In addition to the resolution of
Application, Interface, Workflow, Reporting and Data Integrity issues,
activities would include:

·         Leading and directing a team of Tivoli Service Desk developers;

·         Providing the lead role in release migration, performance testing
and tuning, and upgrade and patch installation and testing;

·         The support and enhancement of the integration components between
applications;

·         The development of plans for improving the stability and
supportability of the existing package and custom applications;

·         Providing the lead role in production support to analyze
day-to-day production issues and quickly responding to the problem to
minimize the business impact.
