Regular Duties: 1. Gather and document detailed requirements while managing scope, including report specifications. 2. Write test plans and test cases. 3. Perform and assist with unit and integration testing. Lead user acceptance testing, vulnerability testing, and Section 508 Accessibility testing efforts. 4. Define, enforce, and follow project development standards and templates and participate in peer reviews to ensure quality products are produced. 5. Assist in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules. 6. Perform and assist with training users. Skills and Experience: *1. 8 – 11 years minimum related experience* *2. Familiar with web-based .NET and SQL Server-based technologies.* *3. Competent in HIPAA and Section 508 Accessibility requirements.* *4. Familiar with the HL7 standard.* 5. Experience with translating application requirements and use cases into design specifications. 6. Experience in the health care, health insurance, and/or government industries. 7. Skilled in establishing effective interpersonal relationships. 8. Able to work independently, under general supervision, and as part of a team on several concurrent tasks with changing priorities. 9. Excellent communication skills are required. 10. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a high degree of integrity and professionalism. 11. Strong knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems to make business more effective. Familiar with industry standard (including Legacy, Core, and Emerging technologies), business process mapping, and reengineering. Prepares solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. • Prepare and document Functional and Technical Specifications for reporting and data warehouse work. Assist with business warehouse/intelligence support and enhancements. Develops RFPs. Assist in deployment and management of end-user reporting tools and platforms. Work with IT and business project teams to understand reporting and data warehousing requirements and propose solutions. Document and provide knowledge transfer to the rest of the Enterprise Reporting Team for all solutions. • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Familiar with relational database concepts, and client-server concepts. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
