*Required Skills *** *Job Summary:* This candidate will be responsible for the design and implementation of a Global Mirroring configuration for real time data replication between two sites. They will be responsible for designing, building, testing, monitoring and documenting this configuration. Must be comfortable working independently to complete assignments with instruction limited to results expected. *Minimum Qualifications* 5 years experience supporting AIX Experience working with Storage Area Networks, centralized storage devices, and IBM SVCs. Knowledge of AIX LPAR functionality, VIO server configurations. Experience setting up Global Mirroring replication solutions for Disaster Recovery. Experience using TPC-R and IBM's flash copy Experience recovering DB2 and SQL data bases. Excellent communication skills, the ability to train others on Global Mirroring and data recovery. Good documentation skills required to complete system and process documentation. Strong scripting skills and the ability to automate routine processes. Familiarity with Change Management processes. *Preferred Qualifications* Experience implementing or supporting an IBM Power HA clustered environments.
