To enable several key components of the company’s strategy, client will be
implementing *SAP* ERP across the enterprise. In this phased approach, SAP
has already been rolled out to North America and South America. Currently
starting in 2010 we are rolling out the implementations in Europe and Asia
Pacific
We are looking for a FICO consultant to help us roll out the global template
to Europe/Africa and Middle East initially and later on to the Asia Pacific
region; the position would be involved in the rollout of SAP FICO modules
and handle the related integration with MM/SD. The candidate should have
worked on Global implementations and should have experience in rolling out
SAP in Europe and preferably in Asia as well
This position will be based in Houston and could involve occasional travel
to countries in Europe, Asia and Middle East

This position report to the Business Solutions Lead supporting the Finance
function

*Responsibilities/Accountabilities:** *
Responsible for successful delivery of Finance & Controlling
(FICO) modules. Implementation and support of SAP solutions which naturally
include design, configuration, and testing.
Assessing and supporting the change implications to organizational
design and work environment with the Business solution Leads/ Business teams
to ensure business readiness at the locations
Understand the Global template and use it to identify the gaps
within the regions. Support the Gap resolution process by providing
options/solutions
Support Change Management Activities (Training, Change Impact
Assessment, Communications and role definitions)
Organize and execute localization; perform and document Fit Gap
analysis and data mapping, document change impacts, create functional
specifications for FRICE objects.\
Support successful Master Data conversion;
Execute the migration plan and cutover
Prepare testing and training and support the Division/Country Team
in execution
Execute user role mapping
Execute lead user training
Support Business Readiness (people, data, processes, procedures,
technology)
• Support stabilization and handover to Division/Country and Support
Organization
Qualifications:
BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics
8 + years work experience
2+ years experience in a finance related role
Participated in 2 or more full lifecycle SAP implementations
4+ years experience in SAP implementation procedures including
testing, documentation, data migration and training
6+ years configuration and support experience covering the
following:
General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cost
Center Accounting, Internal Order Accounting, banking and Profit center
accounting,
Fixed Assets
Experience with SD/MM integration.
European VAT/Intrastat configuration and reporting.
Configured and implemented the Plant Abroad functionality
Experience working on ECC 6.0 is a plus
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability
to use these skills to sell new ideas and concepts to business people as
well as
technical staff
