*Location: **Southfield, MI*

Essential Duties: *

   - Implement logical and physical models for all layers of the data
   warehouse data model
   - Develop and implement data migration scripts
   - Participate in performance tuning activities including partitioning
   strategies, indexing strategies, and SQL optimization
   - Map data elements of data sources into the domain data models.
   - Determine and document business rules to be applied to data cleansing.
   - Coordinate with development/implementation team to improve model
   formats and approaches with regard to implementation issues.
   - Maintain BDM and LDM model
   - Plans and implements strategies for bundling software for loads into
   multiple environments.
   - Assists in all aspects of implementation of normalized Relational and
   Multi-dimensional Data Models.

**

*Responsibilities:*

   - Documents and provides insight into Best Practices for Data Warehousing
   based on expertise and years of experience in data warehouse design and/or
   data modeling.
   - Participates in Cross Functional Reviews/Peer Reviews as an Author or
   Reviewer.
   - Follows configuration and change management processes as defined by the
   Project Manager and Technical Manager.
   - Coordinates with the Requirements Team to understand requirements,
   provide feedback, and request clarification as needed.
   - Provides timely, complete and relevant input into schedule and planning
   for the implementation of the Data Warehouse. Identifies possible risks and
   solutions.
   - Performs other duties as assigned by the Modeling and ETL Manager * *

*Computing Skills:*

MS Office tools (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project)
Data modeling tools such as ERwin
Extensive knowledge of Data Integration and BI topics
Synthesize complex or diverse information Read, analyze, interpret general
business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or
government regulations Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner

*Leadership and Communication Skills:*

Speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations Listen and

   - Responsible for conducting data analysis and data modeling.
   - Assists higher level team members to ensure development efforts
   integrate with the production of the enterprise data architecture.
   - Knowledge of data system platforms and database programming languages,
   inter-process communications, and the replication process between databases
   - Understanding of enterprise data architecture principles
   - Advance knowledge of tuning methods
   - Knowledge of Data Extract-Transform-Load skills(e.g Data Mapping using
   Informatica tool)
   - SQL skills (e.g., tuning SQL queries)
   - Strong data analysis skills (e.g., identifying data sources and needs),

   - Troubleshoots or addresses significant limitations or problems of
   technology applications
   - Uses judgment and creativity and sound technical knowledge to obtain
   and recommend solutions.
   - Ability to tailor information to multiple user audiences, including
   customers and senior management
   - Must be able to interact with customer to set and meet project goals
   with only general instruction. Goes the ‘extra mile’ for the customer to the
   extent that it is reasonable
   - Outlines potential cost/savings outcomes of technology use
   - When faced with critical problems or issues, acts decisively to pursue
   resolution
   - Ability to work on ‘stretch’ work assignments and act decisively when
   faced with critical problems
   - Must be able to work with multiple groups to resolve data issues
   - Provides constructive feedback to the team, suggesting actions to
   improve individual and team performance
   -  Assists the team to accomplish its goals beyond his/her assigned work
