They need a very strong SAP/EDI expert that has used XI/PI for the mapping tool. This person must be an expert with those areas to work with the 5 different business units. The person will be used to locate and identify new customers, vendors and suppliers to bring up on EDI in the SAP environment. *Project*: The goal/responsibility of this person will be to assist each of our 5 businesses with identifying customers, vendors and suppliers to bring up on EDI. It will require a mix of skills to perform this role. The client needs someone with the following; SAP PI (or XI) techno/functional (at least 1 yr). The person will not be doing technical work with XI/PI, they must know it well from the functional side as it is used as a mapping tool. The person should also have Lead experience, SAP EDI (SD, MM, FI) configuration, Interface mapping, Familiar with SpecBuilder (from EDIFecs) or other EDI mapping tools, Experience with messaging technologies (XML, XSLT, EDIFACT, ANSI X12, CIDX, etc. The person will be configuring EDI messages in SAP build the mapping documents between IDOCS and XML. The areas of focus are once an order comes in how it is processed in SAP. The transaction codes of focus are Order to Cash based, 850, 855, 860, 865, 856, 810, VMI (830, 862, 856, 846), Price catalog (832)] The client uses SAP PI 7.1 to build our XSLT or XI mappings and our VAN maps from XML to ANSI. >From a project perspective and leading the effort - working with business to identify customers, communicating with customers, building mapping guides, integration scenarios in SAP PI, back-end SAP EDI configuration, drive testing, sign-off, implementation and support.
