* *SAP Security Analyst* *Plano, TX * *Duration: 3 Months* * * *Job Description: * *Job Summary: Performs security assessments or configures software in support of system security requirements. Includes all functions related to enterprise-wide data security, such as external pipes and firewalls. Also includes efforts to mitigate data security risks. Manages Information Security policy, strategy, operations, monitoring, threat analysis, incident response, forensics and standards for the enterprise. Support includes managing and oversight of all security devices (including firewalls). * *General Deliverables: Defines security policies, solutions, and procedures Creates security standards documentation Typical Accountabilities: Defines and maintains Information security policies Creates and maintains security standards documentation for network, applications, appliances, and custom computing systems Defines and documents security solutions and procedures to mitigate risks Remains current with new security technologies and recommends changes to architecture or implementations as appropriate Maintains expertise to function as subject matter expert in multiple technical or business disciplines Advocates secure computing practices and procedures, and communicates Information Security best practices throughout the company Remains current of new security vulnerabilities to provide recommended actions to management Develops strong partnerships with business clients, network and technology partners, vendors and other technical resources Serves as security consultant for investment projects and troubleshooting efforts * *Required Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree required Security experience to specifically include security fundamentals, UNIX security hardening, database security, enterprise application security, network security, and incident response Information Security Certification (CISSP / CISM) preferred Network security, UNIX administration, database management and application support skills necessary In-depth familiarity with enterprise network architecture design from a security perspective Prior system administration background preferred Auditing/security assessment/pen testing a plus Demonstrated experience developing / designing, architecting and implementing security solutions across a broad spectrum of technologies at an enterprise level Demonstrated project experience handling multiple projects simultaneously Demonstrated hands-on experience across a broad spectrum of technologies Should have solid experience in the creation of presentations and presenting to persuade people on security topics Consumer product industry experience Demonstrated track record as a team player Strong oral and written communication skills * *Skill Level: Service Experience 5+ years CPG experience 3+ years required Deep knowledge of diverse systems and platforms and exposure to new and emerging technologies Mission Criticality: Demonstrated experience working on mission critical customer facing transaction systems Troubleshooting: Advanced demonstration of diagnostic skills across a broad number of technologies and platforms Ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels (Executive Sponsors to team members); Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical individuals Demonstrated ability to work with and coordinate efforts amongst multiple outside third parties * *Required:* *• Bachelor's* *• UNIX* *• security* *Desired:* *• Certified IS Security* *Qualifying Question:* *1.
