*Role: Hyperion Planning/Essbase Administrator* Location: Raleigh, NC
Duration: 24 Months Start: ASAP *Role Description* The Hyperion Planning/Essbase Administrator will play a key role in enabling excellence for our internal clients through more effective use and management of the new Hyperion tool set. This role will be responsible for the global support and management of the Hyperion Planning, Essbase and Reporting applications. This role will have an important place in decision making by improving processes, technologies and our organizational approach to performance management and measurement during implementation and the ongoing support of the toolset(s). T he role will serve as a liaison between the Hyperion end users and Cisco IT, perform systems analysis and address all Hyperion end-user and technical needs. This person must possess the ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment and general application support skills are required. The client-facing nature of this position requires day-to-day interaction with various Cisco areas that are using Hyperion and end users will seek technical advice, guidance, and expertise from this role. *Duties include:* Manage the global support of the new Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications at Cisco. Troubleshoot and solve end user issues and provide direction on data integration support issues. Ability to interface with multiple global functions for additional level of support Manage Planning and Essbase hierarchies. Provide guidance to Corporate IT team on the potential impact of organizational changes and new business requirements Oversee development of new and maintain existing data load rules, calc scripts and Business rules Manage the creation of new and editing of existing global report set using Financial Reports, Smartview and Web Analysis Ability to support installations & provide trouble-shooting for new and existing users.
