*Technical/Functional Skills: *

Candidates who have a strong experience in one of the following:



Networking (L2-L4), load-balancing (L7), systems, storage, databases and
have enough technical aptitude to learn the rest of the environment. The
Internet Services Engineering Group is responsible for installing,
configuring and maintaining all systems related to Internet Services. The
majority of systems are OSX based X Serves, RHEL5 systems, as well as a
number of SOLARIS 0 based SUN servers. The applications running on those
servers are a mix of standard software packages as well as internal
applications. Internet Services is looking for an experienced SA looking for
a challenge in a cutting edge environment. Pager support (24x7) is a
requirement.



*Desired Skill set:  *

Technical BS/MS degree.

5+ years in UNIX system administration in a large environment (50+ servers
minimum) - Strong background in OSX/BSD, RHEL5, SOLARIS - Familiarity with
the following tools: Apache, postfix, ssh, Perl, Python, XCODE - Network
Appliance products and software - Load balancers SAN, NAS experience - UNIX
related software development - SUNOne Messaging and SUNOne directory
services (formerly known as Netscape or iPlanet) - Veritas products - Nagios
or BigBrother, Cacti, Cricket or other RRD-based reporting tool.



*Experience Levels: *

7+ years of total IT experience/ 5+ years in UNIX system administration in a
large environment (50+ servers minimum).



*Education*: BS or higher.
