Position: Java Developer Location: NYC, NY Duration: Long Term Rate; $50 all incluisve JOB SPECIFICATION - Sr. Java Server Developer (Swing & Server side) Roles and Responsibilities Be a part of a Trading Systems Development Team in a fast paced, dynamic startup company. Learn the current architecture and be an active participant in the development of the next generation of this industry changing new platform. Work under time constraints to meet project deadlines and ensure high reliability and high performance in production environments. Qualifications: 8+ years with hands-on object oriented design and development with Java Must have hands on experience with Java Swing in real-time environments. Must have experience with JMS, JDK 1.6 and above in multithreaded environments. Must have experience with JBOSS Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills. Must be a self starter with ability to learn independently and collaborate in a team environment.Understanding of electronic trading platforms for Fixed Income and Derivatives products (IRS) a strong plus. Excellent communication and organizational skills a strong plus. BS or MS in Computer Science or related fields.
