*Average experience:* 5-7years *Project Duration*: 6 months+ *Rates( to consultant):* OPEN *How soon the client wants this resource on board :* 1-2 week or sooner *Profile Description:* *SUMMARY: *Responsible administering and monitoring tasks related to the WebSphere Application Server by performing the following duties. * ** **AIX, SHELL SCRIPTING, SIB, DYNACAHE* *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * · Day-to-day support of WebSphere Application Server 7.x and AIX 5.3 installations -- installation, configuration, patching and administration · Performs daily report analysis and diagnosis. · Provides problem determination and resolution of all WebSphere and AIX issues, opening support cases with vendors when necessary · Automates administration, deployment, reporting and other operational tasks including but not limited to deployments, log rotations, archiving, and backups. · Participate in performance testing and tuning activities. · Provides technical assistance to development on WebSphere functionality. · Develops and documents Disaster Recovery plans for WebSphere, participates in testing ensuring that environment is recoverable within agreed upon time limits · Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated above. *EXPERIENCE:* * * · 5 plus years solid WebSphere system administration in multi-platform environment supporting 24x7 mission critical applications · Fluent with AIX, familiar with Unix, Linux, Solaris or other Unix type operating systems, IBM certification preferred · Experience in analyzing application problems using tools like IBM Support Assistant, OPNET Panorama/CA Wily Introscope/IBM Tivoli Performance Viewer to provide solutions to bottlenecks & poor response times · Fluent in Bash, Korn, and Jython scripting · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Working Knowledge and experience on AS400, DB2, and SQL Server a plus · Understanding of WebSphere Service Integration Bus and Dynacache a plus · WebSphere 7.0 certification a plus -- Thanks & regards Sareen Bhaskaran Sr. Resource Manager| ProSoft CyberWorld Group, Inc [email protected] Phone Direct: 630-689-2960 ext 145; www.prosoftCyberworld.com Alternate email id [email protected] Yahoo IM: sareen_recruiter (only those who are in SALES please add me); CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE: This e-mail message, including any attachments, is for the sole use of the intended recipient(s) and may contain confidential and privileged information.
