* *Position: Sr.IT Trainer* *Location: Redwood City, CA* *Duration: 6+ months* *Job details:* *As IT Training Consultant, you will:* • Maintain training schedules • Assess the effectiveness of training/consulting interventions and programs, and makes recommendations for improvements • Follow established training procedures to identify, deliver, and track training programs • Conduct training for individual on-the-job training and new-hire orientation (NEO) • Consult on the integration of application systems into the work environment, regarding operational and training implications • Maintain current knowledge of application systems, interfaces, reporting processes, and data capture; *including Health Connect Ambulatory and Inpatient ADT, PC Basics, Mainframe Basics, Clinical Information Presentation Systems-CIPS, Immunization Tracking System, PARRS, eConsult, Lotus Notes, Fiberlink/SSL RAS Remote Access, Dragon Naturally Speaking, Learn and others* • Create partnerships with other departments to ensure consistency of policies and procedures • Provide leadership and direction to clients in consulting, planning marketing and training of multi-site, complex automated system implementations • Travel throughout the San Mateo Area and deliver training programs to diverse audiences. Training schedule may require on rare occasions delivery of classes during evenings and weekends *Required Qualifications:* • Five or more years experience in a corporate or healthcare training environment providing classroom and one-on-one instruction • Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design or a related field, or 4 years of additional relevant experience • Five or more years experience developing professional quality instructor and student materials (samples required) • *Experience and certification in training of Epic Healthcare Information Systems* • Exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal, team building and presentation skills • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple demands • Ability to communicate with others in a warm and helpful manner while simultaneously building credibility, trust, and rapport • Ability to act as a facilitator in a classroom setting as well as on cross-functional teams • Demonstrated leadership capabilities • Knowledge and ability to apply adult learning theory and principles in a computer training environment • Exceptional instructional and technical writing skills • Demonstrated ability to use desktop publishing software to develop professional quality instructor and student materials • Thorough understanding of the instructional design and curriculum development • Must have a valid *California Driver’s License* and reliable transportation *Preferred/Additional Qualifications:* • Advanced Epic training • Master’s degree in education, instructional design or related field -- Thanks Raj TekShapers Inc.
