Client has a need to transition a large portfolio of projects to selected offshore vendors. This role will work closely with ITG development, testing, infrastructure teams and approved partners and support various areas in transition cycle as defined by Client offshore engagement model and processes. * * *Overview of Responsibilities: * * * •Subject Matter Expert (SME) on understanding remote infrastructure needs and processes. Understands use case model and requirements development process to translate requirements into technical standards. •Collects and documents offshore infrastructure requirements early on in the planning and transition stages and translate them into requested formats that would make them easy to deploy on remote virtual desktops for provisioning team(s). •Maintains summary documents of remote access requested across ITG projects and leverages that information to provide expertise to teams who may have similar access requirements. •Provides Application packaging support and coordinates with application / software / tool owners so that applications can be packaged and deployed on remote virtual desktops. •Understands windows workstation’s system integration aspects and how applications communicate via the network. Has a good understanding of client based, server based and web based applications. •Conduct feasibility studies, GAP analysis in designated areas and helps build business case for projects. •Coordinates risk assessment and impact analysis in working with Information Security team and vendors. Coordinates implementation of risk controls identified across ITG as a result of such assessments. •Works as an offshore point of contact for designated areas /projects and translates scope of work into Statement of Work (SOW) in working with vendors. Assists with scope definition and project planning. Thereafter supports and coordinates all tasks required to transition projects as per client engagement model. •Tracks new and expected offshore transition demand from business units and partners with vendors to determine next steps and action items. •Performs vendor/product/services research and assists in vendor/product evaluation •Analyzes and documents functional and technology gaps and helps improve processes, artifacts and program reporting. •Document and enhance operational processes and guidelines for outsourcing engagements in areas of: a. Infrastructure set Up (H/W, S/W, Licenses, VPN, Citrix, Leased line etc.) b. Time Tracking & Billing c. Project Initiation, Transition, Steady State and Close-Out processes. d. Risk Management & Security e. Consultant on boarding & location movement coordination f. Consultant related issue management g. Legal Matters • Supports offshore program audits, conducted by internal compliance organizations and external auditors. • Supports program reporting, SOW reviews, planning tasks as requested. *Required Skills and Experience:* * * 1. Self-starter BSA with at least 4 year of IT experience. 2. Strong technical and business skills with experience on business and process modeling. 3. *Prior work experience in offshore setting with IT security, IT project and program managers, IT infrastructure, and IT compliance folks. * 4. Good understanding of IT terminology and infrastructure related terms understanding. 5. Excellent communication, follow-up and documentation skills. 6. Demonstrated strong organization and follow through abilities. 7. Ability to handle multiple tasks on short deadlines must be very detail oriented and open to making firm requests from other persons. 8. Motivated self-starter who functions well in a fast paced, rapidly changing and collaborative team environment. 9. Strong MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio required. 10.
