Title : Oracle DBA Location: Boston, MA (Need only Local) Duration: 6+ Monhs Rate: Open Required Work Experience: Expert level knowledge and hands-on experience (at least 5 years) maintaining Oracle 10g databases Knowledge of Oracle database architecture (components and processes of the database) for Oracle 10g Extensive knowledge of Oracle packages, triggers, and stored procedures Knowledge of and experience with PL\SQL programming J2EE experience including (but not limited to) JSP (and HTML), Experience with Oracle reports Experience writing moderate to complex SQL queries Experience developing in an environment requiring high availability and short deadlines Hands-on experience supporting Oracle 10g (SUN UNIX/Solaris operating system) database, application, and infrastructure servers Experience with Oracle backup and recovery techniques using VERITAS software. Experience dealing with all levels of users is preferred.
