The Senior Oracle Applications Developer is responsible for supporting, maintaining and enhancing the Oracle e-Business SuiteApplications for Manufacturing, Supply Chain, CRM, WMS, Order Management, Financials, and HRMS modules. Key responsibilities include gathering requirements from end users; preparing technical solution design, developing and unit testing the code. Responsibilities also include the ability to work independently on enhancement and support projects and to troubleshoot production support issues that are escalated. Participate in all activities related to Integra’s Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Change Control processes and to prepare technical documentation based on the AIM methodology. This position is heavily weighted on strong technical skills, and prior hands-on Oracle Applications technical experience is required. Needs to investigate and research issues and recommend technical solutions. • Develop solutions in accordance with Integra’s Oracle Applications Development Lifecycle. • Utilize implementation methodologies (AIM) and deliverable templates (Technical Documentation, Move Documentation, Test Plan, Conversion Mapping, etc.). • Follow coding standard and incorporate best practices during the SDLC process. • Ability to understand the business requirements, and translate it into technical design and build the solution with little direct supervision. • Research system impacts for new proposed solutions. • Manage and ensure all technical issues are resolved promptly. • Provide leadership and direction to the technical staff. • Responsible for the prioritization and conversion of short and long term business needs into cost effective solutions within the Oracle e-Business Suite framework. • Manage the monitoring, follow-up and resolution of outstanding Service Requests with Oracle. Completion of all required internal Change Management documentation and sign-off related to the development activity. Required Skills Experience in the following technical areas:- • Workflow Builder • Oracle Forms & Reports • Oracle Discoverer Development and Administration • Oracle XML Development and Administration • Oracle EDI and XML Gateway • Oracle Applications Development Framework, JDeveloper & Personalization • Oracle SQL Tuning and Optimization • Oracle PL/SQL and TOAD • Shell scripting, Oracle Packages, procedures, functions, Materialized views & backend development • Business Intelligence • Familiar with Linux/UNIX Commands • Familiar with Optio Printing solution and integration with Oracle Applications • Interfaces and Conversions • Familiar with Oracle Applications Development Coding Standards • Experience with Cognos Business Intelligence a plus • Experience with AIM Methodology, Business Process Engineering and Project Management tools and/or similar ERP implementation methodologies required; • Ability to multi-task – Manages multiple tasks at one time; quickly and accurately shifts attention among multiple tasks; • Communication skills – Reads, writes and speaks fluent English, with a strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of staff in the organizational structure; • Problem solving skills – Demonstrates a strong ability to identify, analyze and solve problems. Unusually decisive in handling difficult business problems.
