Location: MD Duration: 6 months This position requires for the candidate to be talented, energetic, ambitions and experienced Sr. software engineer able to join the top tier of our software development organization working with state of the art tools and technology developing solutions as follows: ? Develop, configure, implement, select, and support software for a variety of Bechtel business entities. ? Lead hands-on effort to modify, develop, write and implement software applications ? Analysis, design, program, and implementation of new and existing systems ? Identify and implement technical innovations that add value and improve applications and work processes ? Develop system and application analysis ? Design application database schemas ? Design and develop web applications ? Develop application documentation ? Work closely with other groups to assure that business requirements are accurately represented in design and implementation phases ? Serve as a mentor to software engineers ? Receive direction from various business divisions and provide direction for software engineers ? *Basic Qualifications* ? Bachelors in Computer Science ? At least 6-8 years software engineering and development in a Microsoft multi-tiered environment ? *6+ years design and development in a Microsoft .NET environment, particularly ASP.NET, C#* ? *5 years SQL Server experience including designing application database and deployment* ? *1 year experience with Microsoft Silverlight.* ? Experience with building highly scalable and robust web applications ? *Experience with RESTful Web Services* ? Strong software analysis and design skills developing applications that are scalable to enterprise level ? Strong problem solving skills ? Excellent organizational and communication skills ? Passion for software development and technology in general ? Ability to join an existing project and quickly become productive Experience in the following areas: ? Demonstrate ability to excel in requirement definition design and coding ? Experience with SSRS and SSAS and BizTalk ? Must possess good teamwork skills and work effectively with cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams. ? Experience in implementation, training, documentation, and support ?
